They Shoot Typo Don't They? chronologically reproduces movie posters that were designed by graphic design students between 2002 and 2012 after the screening of a series of films at the Sint-Lucas art school in Ghent. The students were given carte blanche to design a movie poster that challenged the stereotypical design trends found in film poster design. Many of the graphic artists involved have since graduated and started successful professional careers.
